Storm Warning

The garden has been battered by high winds and rain over the last few days. All in all it's come out of it looking pretty good. The only bad news was the carnage I came home to on Friday last week. I arrived home after work to see the table that we normally have on the decking upside down half way down the garden and every terracotta pot between the house and where it had come to lay smashed. I was so upset. I'm now trying to rearrange what's left so that I can re-pot the plants as soon as possible but I think I may have to buy some replacement pots to accommodate them all.

Just goes to show you can see everything coming. The table has now been taken down and stored in the outhouse. I guess I should probably have done this before but you don't expect the wind to take something as heavy as a table.

Hi Andrew

I am sorry to hear about your damage.
It certainly has been a strange winter for weather patterns.

I just hope that the little green shoots of spring arrive soon.

I know we are several hundred miles south but the weather has turned warmer and the bees are busy on the Buxus flowers out side the front door.

Looking at the UK weather, the southerly winds are on the way to you :)

Phil
